Short Term Emergency Loans
The Short Term Loan program is comprised of funds donated by alumni for the use of Georgia Tech students t o fund their education and unexpected emergencies. Appli cations for Short Term Loans to be utilized to pay tuiti on and fees must be submitted by the appropriate fee de adline. The funds must be repaid during the term in whi ch they are borrowed. Non-repayment prevents the borrower from registering for future terms and from receiving a transcript or diploma. It is the policy of the Institut e to deny loan requests from students who have been late with repayments on previous loans and not to lend to stu dents in consecutive quarters. All outstanding bad debts to the Institute will be subject to credit bureau reporting.
